Dryer Safety Tip

We have been hearing recently about fires starting from dryers and the cause being from the lint screen buildup.

They recommend trying to pour water through it and if repels water, the dryer sheets have built up their residue and that's what caused the fire.

Tip: Only use 1/2 or 1/3 dryer sheet for a load. 1/2 sheet for a large load works as well as a whole sheet...and the buildup won't be as likely to happen. It also makes the box of dryer sheets go further and saves money.

I have had my dryer for over 10 years and I have always used the cut up dryer sheets. Water will run through my screen and always has when I tested it.
